VIRUS UPDATES
It is vital to protect your system against viruses.
Ariel recommends that each computer and server in your office or at home be protected by an anti-virus program provided by companies such as McAfee or Symantec. Please make sure that your anti-virus program is updating on a regular basis to keep your computer protected. If you aren't sure that you have an anti-virus program on your computers or if you want us to make sure they are updating properly, please call our office at 714-245-0555 to schedule an appointment with one of our network engineers.
For more information on the latest viruses, please visit McAfee's Threat Center at http://www.mcafee.com/us/threat_center or Symantec's Anti-Virus Center at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/.
WINDOWS UPDATES
Microsoft is constantly providing updates and patches for its Windows operating systems. It is important to keep your computer up to date with Windows Updates to ensure that you are protected from vulnerabilities. Windows XP offers an "Automatic Update" feature that keeps your computer up-to-date without you having to manually check for updates. You can enable this feature by right-clicking My Computer and going to the "Automatic Updates" tab across the top.
